Hello, I have this game called 'Driver: The Wheelman' which I would like to play on my Intel Mac Pro (see signature). I thought I would ask this question in this forum, as people may know better. The game was released in 1999/2000 and had following system requirements: What would be the. Assuming that your host computer has an Intel CPU and you wanted the most recent version of Rosetta, then you could run Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on VirtualBox. Unfortunately, just having Rosetta may not solve all your problems because some PowerPC applications or games require the classic Mac environment.

Actually...never mind. Extracting that other game must have slapped my computer awake or something, cuz it just extracted PP perfectly......like there was never a problem at all. ???? I didn't change anything or do anything different......I have no idea. But I'm playing now! Thanks.

I put the downloaded .sit on my faux mac hard drive. Stuffit expander is installed, I drag the .sit to it. Then a new folder 'Power Pete' appears. There is nothing inside it but .ds_store. I have also tried running expander and running the .sit from the program itself. Am I missing something. Please help if you can, I really wanna play this.

Am I doing something wrong?

Extracted perfectly with StuffIt Expander

The unstuffed file folder only contains .DS_Store....

Do you have an hqx? It would be so much easier.

Yeah, I got a running os7.5.3 in Basilisk II, with Stuffit Expander 5.5, and this SIT file is just not extracting....I've been at it for hours and I think there is actually something wrong with this file.

Hi
In case you didn't know, this will only run on old Power PC Macs. If you have an Intel mac (which means Macs released after 2006, I think), this won't run.
You can only do it by using an emulator such as Sheepshaver or Basilisk, but even that is tricky to set up. I struggled for hours last year to make it work with Power Pete.
