Game Wont Start On Steam Mac

Dec 26, 2012 To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. I don't know what it means having same Steam game on your PC and Bootcamp. I showed the game DVD to Lion & found that there was Dmg which when installed gave me Steam, no game on Mac side for no good reason. I removed it but account shows that I have it on the Mac side as well.
Just figured out an alternative to what u/SugarlessChunk suggested: In /Application Support/Library/Steam, you can delete JUST the 'Steam.AppBundle' folder instead of the entire 'Steam' directory, and this will force Steam to fully re-download and install the latest version the moment you launch the app as you normally would.
